10-06-2021 - Understanding Environmental Change in Inuit Nunangat Call - Funding for UK-Canada Partnerships
Funding is available for UK-Canada partnerships to support key themes connected to climate-driven changes to marine environments in Inuit Nunangat and the impact on Inuit communities.
The new Understanding Environmental Change in Inuit Nunangat initiative is funded on the UK side by the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). It is run in conjunction with Canadian partners Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami (ITK), Polar Knowledge Canada (POLAR), National Research Council of Canada (NRC), Parks Canada (PARKS) and Fonds de Recherche du Quebec (FRQ). The programme is supported through the Fund for International Collaboration.
