Funding is available to French teams for the development and implementation of multidisciplinary public health research projects on the topic of interventions, services and policies.
The Groupement d'Intérêt Scientifique-Institut de Recherche en Santé Publique (GIS-IReSP - Scientific Interest Group-Institute for Public Health Research) was first created in 2004 as an Inserm (National Institute of Health and Medical Research) initiative. It brings together different stakeholders in public health research, such as researchers, Ministries, health safety agencies and health insurance funds, to develop and promote French public health research.
