Funding to support research into public health interventions in humanitarian crises that will contribute to improving health outcomes for people affected by humanitarian crises and make interventions more effective.
The Research for Health in Humanitarian Crises (R2HC) programme was launched as the result of a strategic partnership between the UK Department for International Development and the Wellcome Trust and receives on-going support from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO)/UK Aid, NIHR and the Wellcome Trust. The programme is administered and managed by Enhancing Learning and Research for Humanitarian Assistance (elrha).
