15-02-2022 - DFG Launches Fifth Round of Sequencing Costs Grants

Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) to cover sequencing costs of up to €1 million for research projects intending to use DFG funded sequencing centres.

In 2018, the DFG funded the establishment of four Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) centres at the universities of Bonn/Köln/Düsseldorf, Dresden, Kiel, and Tübingen. To support the use of these NGS centres, the DFG issues period calls which provide grants to cover sequencing costs of research projects in the life sciences. It has now issued the fifth call for proposals.
