22-02-2022 - Applicants Invited to Establish a 1.2 GHz Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Research Facility
Funding from EPSRC to procure, install and operate a 1.2 GHz nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) facility in the UK.
The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) - in partnership with the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), Medical Research Council (MRC), and Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) - is providing funding to enable an institution to procure, install, and operate an ultra-high-field nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectrometer as a national facility in the UK. The spectrometer will have a magnetic field strength of 1.2 Gigahertz (GHz), the highest currently available.
