Funding of up to $750,000 over three years is available for projects to develop and validate medical imaging technology for non-invasive in vivo monitoring of immune responses to transplanted insulin-producing cells.
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) has issued a Request for Applications - 'Development and Validation of Non-Invasive Immune Imaging Technology to Accelerate the Development of Beta Cell Replacement Therapies' - to seek proposals for preclinical and clinical research for the development and in vivo validation of medical imaging technology for non-invasive in vivo monitoring of immune responses to transplanted insulin-producing cells.
