29-07-2022 - Climate Protection in Tourism - New National Programme Supports Short-Term Projects
BMWK has launched a new opportunity for short-term projects that aim to develop solutions to effectively promote climate protection in the tourism sector via model projects or communication measures.
The newly launched funding programme Performance Increase and Innovation Promotion in Tourism: Climate Protection in Tourism (LIFT Klima) by Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz (BMWK - Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection) aims to strengthen climate protection in tourism both via supply and demand. It is also intended to secure the mid- to long-term competitive position of German SME in the tourism sector.
