Bowel Cancer UK is inviting applications for Pilot Grants to support innovative research with the potential to facilitate a shift towards earlier diagnosis of bowel cancer in the UK. Currently, fewer than 40% of people are diagnosed at Stage 1 and 2, when bowel cancer is more treatable and curable. Bowel Cancer UK is aiming to address the prevalence of late diagnosis and work towards diagnosing bowel cancer at the earliest possible stage.
