The Global Change Award (GCA) was initiated in 2015 by the H&M Foundation in collaboration with Accenture and the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. The aim of the Global Change Award is to find, support and scale disruptive ideas that can protect the planet and turn the fashion and textile industry into a planet positive one. This means changing the way garments are designed, produced, shipped, bought, used and recycled by adopting disruptive technology, processes or new business models.
