17-01-2023 - New Edition of CNRS/IMPT Programme On the Environmental and Mathematical Challenges Linked to Climate Changed Launched
CNRS/IMPT has launched its 2023 edition of its programme to support French academics for mathematical research linked to climate change.
France's Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS - National Centre for Scientific Research) is a public scientific and technological establishment of various thematic institutes that carries out research to advance scientific knowledge as well as to generate social, cultural and economic progress. CNRS created the Institut des Mathématiques pour la Planète Terre (IMPT - Institute of Mathematics for Planet Earth) in 2021. IMPT is intended as an institute without boundaries that is capable of bringing together the mathematics community to address questions posed in other scientific fields, employing a necessarily multidisciplinary approach.
