25-01-2023 - TWAS Launches 2023 Editions of Fayzah M Al-Kharafi Award and Atta-ur-Rahman Award
TWAS has announced the deadline for two awards: the Fayzah M Al-Kharafi Award for women in science and the Atta-ur-Rahman Award for young chemists. Both awards are targeted at academics from scientifically and technologically lagging (STL) countries.
The World Academy of Sciences for the Advancement of Science in Developing Countries (TWAS) is a merit-based science academy. Its principal aim is to promote scientific capacity and excellence for sustainable development in the South.
