16-03-2023 - DFG Launches Infrastructure Priority Programme on New Data Spaces for the Social Sciences
The newly established long-term programme aims to develop best-practice examples of data generation, data collection and data integration for the social sciences in Germany by bringing together social scientists with experts from computer science.
The Infrastructure Priority Programme (InfPP) 'New Data Spaces for the Social Sciences' (SPP 2431) is a long-term funding scheme that was signed off by the Senate of Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG - German Research Foundation) in December 2022. The programme initially runs for a first funding period of six years. If it is successful, the programme committee will consider applying for an additional six years. The present call invites researchers to submit proposals for the first three years of the first funding period.
