3-year grants for projects with a focus on quantum technology R&D and specialist training that bring together partners from industry and science from Germany and one or two additional countries.
The funding initiative 'Quantum International: International Collaboration in Quantum Technology' by Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF - Federal Ministry for Education and Research) is designed to promote cutting-edge research in a key future technology. In this way, BMBF hopes to promote the training of relevant experts and establish the basis for future collaboration of science and industry partners in this particular field. The long-term goal is to contribute to the goal of technological sovereignty of Germany and its European partners through collaborative research with likeminded international partners in Europe and beyond.
