This annual prize of €1,000 is awarded to an early career researcher considered to have written the best new article in either English or French relating to the field of crime history and criminal justice.
The Herman Diederiks Prize is awarded each year by the International Association for the History of Crime and Criminal Justice (IAHCCJ) to recognise a novel article relating to the field of crime history and penal justice written by a researcher at the beginning of their career.
