The 2023 call for the Fundación MAPFRE Ignacio H. de Larramendi Research Grants is now open, inviting researchers from around the world to conduct projects relating to either Health Promotion or Insurance and Social Protection.
The Fundación MAPFRE is a Spanish private charitable foundation founded in 1976 by Mapfre, S.A., a Spanish insurance company. Its mission is to contribute to improving people's quality of life and the progress of society through multinational programmes and activities. The foundation focuses on five areas: Social Action, Culture, Health Promotion, Road Safety and Accident Prevention and Insurance and Social Protection. Fundación MAPFRE annually publishes a call for research grants in tribute to D. Ignacio Hernando de Larramendi (the first president of Fundación MAPFRE). Each annual call has a specific focus.
