13th call offers 25 fellowships for researchers who are subject to significant and continuous personal threat in their country of origin in order to continue their work at a research institution in Germany.
The Philipp Schwartz Initiative is a collaboration between the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and the German Federal Foreign Office. The initiative provides universities and research institutions in Germany with the means to host foreign researchers who are at risk in their country of origin. The programme offers fully funded research fellowships for a period of 24 months.
