The Dominique Kalifa Doctoral Thesis Prize of the Centre d’histoire du XIXe siècle of Université Paris 1 is accepting submissions for its 2023 edition. Any doctoral thesis on nineteenth century history completed at a French university is eligible.
The Centre d’histoire du XIXe siècle (Centre for Nineteenth Century History) is a research centre within Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. The Centre produces research into the history of the nineteenth century, including the rise of globalisation and societal interdependence and the development of the social sciences. The Centre's research activities include seminars, conferences and academic publications.
