09-08-2023 - New BMEL Funding Initiative on Interoperability in Agriculture
Call offers grants for application-oriented research and development projects in Germany that address challenges in the interoperability of tools and systems used in agricultural practice and related up- and downstream processes.
Bundesministerium für Ernährung und Landwirtschaft (BMEL - German Federal Ministry for Food and Agriculture) has launched a new funding initiative to promote research projects for interoperability in agriculture in application cases for national and foreign trade along the entire value chain. It is designed to support innovative research and development projects that bring together actors from agricultural practice, science and industry with the aim to develop holistic concepts for improved interoperability of digital tools for agriculture. This may include communication exchange between different types of equipment including machines, engines, vehicles and measuring tools.
