30-08-2023 - German-African Innovation Incentive Award (GAIIA) Now Open for Applications
Award honours outstanding achievements in application-oriented research by scientists in Africa and supports the implementation of a transfer-oriented R&D project that brings together researchers from Germany and Africa.
Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF - Federal Ministry for Education and Research) has been awarding the German-African Innovation Incentive Award (GAIIA) periodically since 2017 as part of the German Federal Government's Strategy for the Internationalisation of Education, Science and Research as well as the BMBF's Africa Strategy.
