17-10-2023 - MESR Accepting Applications for Irène Joliot-Curie Special Engagement Prize
As part of its Irène Joliot-Curie Prize programme, MESR is accepting applications for the 2023 Special Engagement Prize, intended to recognise female scientists in France who have promoted the involvement of young girls in science.
The Irène Joliot-Curie Prize was created in 2001 to promote the position of women in research and technology in France. The prize is for scientists with exemplary careers and trajectories as well as those who combine excellence and dynamism. It is awarded by France's Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche (MESR - Ministry for Higher Education and Research). The prize forms part of the Ministry's strategy of promoting women in science and technology and to encourage their participation in these fields.
