17-10-2023 - New Call for Proposals on Resource Efficient Circular Economy: Textile Industry Announced by BMBF
Funding is provided for joint R&D projects as well as an accompanying networking and transfer project which focus on innovative, economically viable solutions in the German textile industry.
Within its FONA (Forschung für Nachhaltige Entwicklung - Research for Sustainable Development) Research Programme, this initiative (Ressourceneffiziente Kreislaufwirtschaft - Zirkuläre nachhaltige Textilien: Entwicklung ganzheitlicher, praxisreifer Lösungen zur Kreislaufschließung in der Textilbranche) of the Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF - Federal Ministry for Education and Research) aims to promote the circular economy as an effective means of climate and resource protection in the German textile industry. The goal is to develop and test holistic, practical solutions for improved recycling of textiles.
