27-10-2023 - DFG Priority Programme: Robust Coupling of Continuum-Biomechanical In Silico Models Now Open for Second Funding Period
Funding is provided for interdisciplinary, collaborative research projects that contribute to the design of robust, computational, continuum-biomechanical models through the use of methods from modelling, numerics and medical application.
In 2020, Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG - German Research Foundation) established the Priority Programme Robust Coupling of Continuum-Biomechanical In Silico Models to Establish Active Biological System Models for Later Use in Clinical Applications - Co-design of Modelling, Numerics and Usability (SPP 2311). The programme is designed to run for six years. Proposals are now invited for the second three-year funding period.
