The programme supports clinical studies and systematic reviews that close current evidence gaps and achieve significant positive impact for affected patients and their care in Germany.
With the funding programme 'Clinical Studies with High Relevance for Patient Care' (Klinische Studien mit hoher Relevanz für die Patientenversorgung), Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF - Federal Ministry for Education and Research) supports clinical studies and systematic reviews of clinical studies according to international standards. This also includes the concept development for suitable patient participation measures. Projects should be aimed at closing evidence gaps and achieve a high relevance for patients as well as for the health care system in Germany.
