Successful projects have been announced for the France 2030 PEPR-MIE scheme, which supports ambitious, innovative research projects from French-led teams on emerging infectious diseases.
France's Agence Nationale de Recherche sur le Sida (ANRS - National Agency for AIDS Research), founded in 1988 as part of the government's plan to combat the AIDS epidemic, seeks to evaluate, promote, coordinate and fund research on AIDS and human retroviral infections, in collaboration with other French institutions conducting biological and medical research. The Agency also supports research into other human infectious diseases.
