01-12-2023 - Research on Rare Diseases: New EKFS Funding Line Supports Dedicated Clinician Scientist Professorships
Else Kröner Fresenius-Stiftung (EKFS - Else Kröner Fresenius Foundation) has launched the Clinician Scientist Professorships Programme for Rare Disease in collaboration with Eva Luise und Horst Köhler Stiftung für Menschen mit Seltenen Erkrankungen (ELHKS - Eva Luise and Horst Köhler Foundation for Rare Diseases). The programme is designed to promote translational research on rare diseases and contribute to raising the international profile of this particular research area. Simultaneously, it is intended to help improve the care of people with rare diseases in Germany.
