As part of its Health Research Programme (Rahmenprogramm Gesundheitsforschung), this initiative (Bilaterale Zusammenarbeit in Computational Neuroscience: Deutschland-USA) by Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF - German Federal Ministry of Education and Research) supports collaborative research projects bringing together actors from Germany and United States of America. The programme aims to achieve progress in the methodological investigation and understanding of complex neuroscientific issues by networking scientists in the field of computational neuroscience.
