12-01-2024 - Boosting Diamond Open Access: DFG Offers Funding To Develop Publishing Landscape in Germany
The DFG Boosting Diamond Open Access (Diamond Open Access stärken) is a call for proposals under the LIS funding programme ‘Infrastructures for Scholarly Publishing’. The objective of the funding offered by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG - German Research Foundation) is to boost the performance capacity of Diamond Open Access infrastructures located at publicly organised institutions or operated by non-commercial and non-profit actors in Germany. In this way, the funding will seek to contribute to a high-quality system of open access publication channels that is better networked nationally and globally, subject-specific, differentiated and efficient, and is able to precisely fulfil the requirements of digital publishing in the research field.
