The Paul Ehrlich Foundation is administered by the Association of Friends and Funders of the Goethe University Frankfurt (Vereinigung von Freunden und Förderern der Goethe-Universität Frankfurt), and was created in the memory of Paul Ehrlich (1854-1915). The foundation is dedicated to honouring outstanding researchers from Germany and abroad who work in the research areas of Paul Ehrlich such as immunology, cancer research, haematology, microbiology and chemotherapy.
