The Wiener Wiesenthal Institut für Holocaust-Studien (VWI - Vienna Wiesenthal Institute for Holocaust Studies) is a research centre dedicated to the research and documentation of and education on all aspects of antisemitism, racism and the Holocaust. VWI was established in 2009 and receives funding from the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research, the Federal Chancellery and the City of Vienna. Research at the institute focuses on the Holocaust in its European context, including its antecedents and its aftermath.
