As part of its resident researchers programme, EFR is accepting applications for candidates who require housing support during their potential stay in Rome in academic year 2024-2025. The programme is open to French humanities and social science scholars.
The École française de Rome (EFR - French School of Rome) is a French research institute based in Rome that was founded in 1875 and is oriented around the study of history, archaeology and the social sciences. EFR is primarily focussed on conducting research and developing young researchers. The School also takes part in archaeological excavations and houses a specialist library that is accessible to researchers from all countries.
