04-11-2024 - DFG Opens 2024 Call for Centres for Advanced Studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG - German Research Foundation) funds the establishment of outstanding Centres for Advanced Studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences at German institutions of higher education. These Centres are designed to meet the particular demands of the comparatively open-ended approaches or a decidedly experimental character of research in the fields of humanities and social sciences. Headed by experienced and well-established researchers, the Centres for Advanced Studies are set up around broadly defined topics and should tie in with existing interests and strengths at the host research institution. The thematic focus can be chosen freely.
