08-11-2024 - Biennial Award for Gender Equality in Germany Now Open for Applications
The Elisabeth Selbert Prize has been presented by the State Government of Hesse in Germany since 1983. The award is designed to recognise outstanding achievements in the establishment and further development of equal opportunities for women and men in Germany. The award is named after Dr Elisabeth Selbert, a legal expert who was born in Hesse and whose contribution helped enshrine gender equality into the German constitution. Award winners receive a prize sum of €10,000.
