The UMSICHT Science Award (UMSICHT-Wissenschaftspreis) is a joint initiative between Fraunhofer Gesellschaft (Fraunhofer Society) and UMSICHT Friends and Patrons Group (UMSICHT-Förderverein). Every year, the award recognises outstanding work in the field of sustainability that has contributed to strengthening the trust between science and society. The prize honours researchers and journalists whose work made research results from the fields of environmental, process or energy technology more accessible to the wider public.
