NATO's Public Diplomacy Division (PDD) works to strengthen the public image of NATO and promote awareness and understanding of the Alliance's mission, as well as trust in its actions, values, policies and activities. One of its objectives is to contribute to the resilience of societies and the stability of the security environment by encouraging strong civil society involvement in public debate and policy development around security and defence issues and individual and collective efforts to create impact.
