28-01-2025 - New Call for German-Korean Research Collaboration in Red Biotechnology and AI for Biodiversity
As part of its programme to support international cooperation, Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (German Ministry of Education and Research) has launched a new joint call with the Korean Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT). The funding initiative is dedicated to the topic of 'Digital Technologies for the Red Biotechnology as well as Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Biodiversity Research. It aim to bring together researchers from Germany and Korea to implement collaborative research projects. Examples of suitable topics include the development of innovative vaccines and antibiotics, new drugs, and cell and gene therapies, as well as projects that use AI tools to make a significant contribution to protecting biodiversity and improving our understanding of the relationships between biodiversity and ecosystems.
